Description

More than twenty years ago, a Toronto social worker Barry Dickson and a therapist Joan Bodger developed a playful program for struggling families that has inspired a cross-country rap revival of Mother Goose rhythms and rhymes. Through their dedicated efforts to families the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program evolved.

The Parent-Child Mother Goose program is a group experience for parents and their babies and young children focusing on the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs and stories together. The parents gain skills and confidence which can enable them to create positive family patterns during their children's crucial early years and give their children healthy early experiences with language and communication.
